Our program began in late December 2022, when one homeschooling parent approached another with the idea of starting a Science Olympiad team. What began as a simple conversation quickly grew into action. In January 2023, families began connecting and recruiting interested students, and by February, a small but dedicated team had formed.

With only a few weeks to prepare before the 2023 Connecticut State Tournament, our initial goal was modest—learn the events, gain experience, and build confidence. Even in that first season, our students exceeded expectations, earning five medals and laying the foundation for future success.

In the 2024 season, the team placed 2nd in the CT state competition. And in 2025, we won the SO Connecticut State competition, earning a place at the National Science Olympiad Tournament. In 2026, we secured a second state competition win and again qualified to represent Connecticut at the national level.

While we are proud of our medals and championships, what matters most is what our students gain along the way: perseverance, curiosity, leadership, and a deep love of learning. We believe success is built through hard work, preparation, and the willingness to take on new challenges.
